In yogic and āyurvedic literature, prāṇa is understood as the animating
principle that governs physiological and psychological processes.
It flows through specific pathways (nāḍīs) and is regulated through
breath, posture, and attention.
Practices such as prāṇāyāma, āsana, and meditation aim to balance
and refine the flow of prāṇa.
